A time-lapse is a photographic technique perfect for trips, since it manages to capture the essence of a place or an experience in minutes. The frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is much lower than that used to view the sequence.Time-lapse photography can be considered the opposite of high speed photography or slow motion. This technique creates an illusion of accelerated images that makes us jump right into the destination.
